My Story

Lee Mc Namara came into this world on 11th December 1973. As far as I've been told it was a very painful and long entry. I was born 14 Mths later, He was my Big Brother.

Lee was always a very shy person. He was neat to the point of being obsessive. I remember when we were younger, my 2 brothers used to share a room ( and you know they say 2 boys are always like chalk and cheese) well you could see a clear line in the centre of the room. Wesleys side was so messy you couldn't find him sometimes, but Lee's side was military neat.

His bed was always made, his clothes always hung up where they should go, no washing on the floor it was in the laundry basket where it belonged, and his toys and books were always tidied away after use.

My mothers always gave out that she couldn't even ask Lee to go to the local shop for her. It would take him an hour just to leave the house, he would have to have a Shave, Shower and Iron his clothes. No one ever saw Lee in an old tracksuit with a days stuble. He would have died at the thought.

I remember the day we made our confirmation ( we were in the same class in school) Lee had a beautiful grey linen suit and I had some bluey suit, we went visiting as you do on that day. In the evening we had gone to an old friend of my mothers for our tea, next thing there was pandamonia outside in the garden. Lee had gotten a speck of mud on his trousers, Now I mean a speck about the size of a 10cent, everybody rushed out to see what was wrong. They tried to wipe it away with a damp cloth and in the end my mother had to promise to wash it as soon as we got home before he calmed down. You wouldn't mind put I had a big tear in my skirt since earlier that day. But did I care !! That was our LEE!!
